About This Race
The Long Grove Turkey Trot is a chip-timed Thanksgiving morning 5K and 8K through historic downtown Long Grove, IL, finishing under the famous covered bridge. Runners and walkers can participate, with Apple Haus donuts, hot apple cider, and beer at the finish. The race benefits the Northern Illinois Food Bank and is part of the Run Chicagoland Race Series and the nationwide Thankful Turkey Run/Walk.
