Ocean City Running Festival

The Ocean City Running Festival is a scenic coastal running event set along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Ocean City, Maryland, offering marathon, half marathon, 8K, and 5K distances. The marathon course starts and finishes at the Inlet parking lot, crossing Isle of Wight Bay into West Ocean City and following an out-and-back route that reaches Assateague State Park before returning along the famous Ocean City boardwalk. Participants receive a custom hoodie and a collectible finisher medal with a unique oyster shell design that opens to reveal an iconic Ocean City image. Post-race festivities include complimentary Thrasher's Fries and a post-race beer, capping a weekend on the Maryland shore.
