About This Race

The Tristin Franklin Memorial Timed 5K and 1 Mile is a fundraiser created in honor of Tristin Franklin, a student athlete at Sycamore High School who passed away in 2024. The event supports the Tristin Franklin Foundation's mission to provide scholarships to Cheatham County student athletes and to raise funds to build a track in Cheatham County. The new track would benefit cross country and track and field athletes and the community as a whole.
