About This Race

The Patriots Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run takes place at the Red Tail Pavilion in Oak Point Park, Plano, home of the Plano Flags of Honor. The morning begins with a Presentation of Colors and the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a warm-up, the Fun Run at 8:00 AM, and the 5K at 8:30 AM. After the race a community celebration features awards, sponsor booths, food, music, and vendor prize giveaways.
