Ocean View Half Marathon & 5K

The 5K race is mostly flat and follows the first few miles of the half marathon course. Race along Linebrook Road before turning onto Mile Lane. Your final right turn is at the famous Clam Box of Ipswich restaurant as you begin your final run towards the finish line at the high school. There is a parking lot in front of the school and another parking lot behind the school. First come, first served. Additional parking: Option 1: 12 Hammatt St Ipswich, MA 01938  Option 2: 44 S Main St Ipswich, MA 01938 Bib # and race swag pick-up is on race day only from 8:00am. No early birds, please. School is closed - no entry. Portable restrooms are available at the start/finish. There will be one aid station on the 5K course. Award medals are given to the top three M/F in each age group. Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your award before you leave (There will not be an awards ceremony). Awards will not be mailed and are only available at the race. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your purchased merchandise before you leave. Merchandise will not be mailed and is only available at the race. Finisher medals to all finishers. The roads are open to traffic. The local Police Department will help monitor traffic. PLEASE stay to the side of the road. Bag check is not available. The half marathon course begins with several flat miles. The race continues on route to scenic Great Neck with views of beach, marsh and ocean. After the loop around the neck, the course returns towards town with the finish at the high school.
