About This Race

The BIRR Monster Mash Mile Fun Run is a Halloween-themed one-mile run held at Wailoa State Park in Downtown Hilo, Hawaii. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a shorter kids' distance race is offered for those 12 and under. The event is co-sponsored with the Hilo Run Club and provides snacks and water.
