About This Race
The 12th Annual Suffolk County Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Sunday, October 18th, and the 5K will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2026.
Sunday's races will start in the Village of Babylon and Finisher in Gardiner Park, located at Montauk Hwy W, Bay Shore, NY 11706. Athletes running the Half & Full Marathon will run one of the most scenic courses on Long Island, as they cross the Robert Moses Causeway. Saturdays races will start and finish at Gardiner County Park.
Each year, the Marathon raises money to benefit veterans and to date, the Suffolk County Marathon has raised over $1,000,000 for local veterans’ services.

VIRTUAL MILE MISSION
Your Mission is to RUN/Walk/Swim or BIKE as many miles as you can from October 1st until October 31st to support our Veterans. The miles that count can be either outdoor or indoor on a treadmill. Ellipticals do not count. You can log your miles daily, you can even run 2 or 3 times a day and log your miles. Good luck!

Race packets containing the items above will be mailed out between November 6 and November 13, 2021. The cost of shipping is included in the registration fee.
Virtual Race Rules:
1. Complete your distance on a pre-measured route, with a tracking device, or indoors on a treadmill. Complete your distance by 10/31/2021.
2. Document your run with a before and after photo. Start your watch as you take your first step and note your total time at the finish.
3. Post your results and a photo on our Virtual Event page on Facebook on or before 10/31/2021.
