About This Race
The Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet is a trail event held along Bassett Creek that celebrates Dakota people, land, and traditions. Participants run or walk a 6-hour or 12-hour experience completing as many 5-mile loops as possible, solo or as a relay team of 4. A 1 Loop Fun Run/Walk and a kids Little Loopet are also offered. All events start and finish at the Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Park.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
Full ultramarathon aid station between loops; self-serve water-only aid station at mile 3 of the 5 mile loop; Tail Wind Endurance electrolyte beverage at Trailhead station.
Awards
Winners will receive a pumpkin that was decorated during the day by Little Loopet participants.
