About This Race

The Growler Gallop Atwater 10 Mile & 5K is a fall running tradition in Detroit on September 27, 2026. Runners travel scenic miles along the Detroit Riverwalk and Belle Isle, then finish at Atwater Brewery with beer and post-race food. The event offers a USATF-certified 10 Mile and a 5K, with chip timing, a finisher medal, and a participant hoodie included.

The top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers in the 10 Miler win cash prizes of $150, $100, and $75. Age group awards include growlers and howlers filled with Atwater's beer for those 21 and over.

Packet Pickup

Early packet pickup is Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Atwater Brewery. Race-day registration and packet pickup runs 1:30-3:40 pm at Atwater Brewery.
