About This Race
The Pulse Walk: Penny Per Step Challenge is a community 5K hosted by The Griffin Leukemia Foundation. This event raises awareness for leukemia and other cancers, honors survivors and families, and supports programs that help cancer survivors rebuild their strength and confidence.
Participation is free. Walkers are encouraged to create a fundraising page through 99Pledges and secure micro-pledges for each step taken during the 5K. All funds raised for the 2026 event will support the Cancer Climber Association and their efforts to help cancer survivors reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Every step keeps the pulse alive.
