About This Race

The Friends of the Poor Walk/Fun Run is a charity event hosted by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, District Council of Rochester, MN, at the Church of the Resurrection. The 13th annual event includes a walk, fun run, and a Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast. The route starts and ends near the church and is slightly longer than a 5K at about 3.3 miles, running scenically along the Bear Creek River. Proceeds support the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's service to people in need.
