Half Marathon-by-the-Sea

Parking is available near the start/finish line: Manchester-Essex High School 36 Lincoln St Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Manchester Elementary School 43 Lincoln St. Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Sweeney Park 113 Summer St Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Manchester Tennis Courts & Turf Field 38 Norwood Ave Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 Bib # and race swag pick-up is on race day only from 8:00am – 8:45am. No early birds, please. School is closed - no entry. There will be six aid stations with water and Gatorade near miles 1, 3, 5, 7.5, 9.5 & 11.5. With warmer temperatures, runners are encouraged to carry additional water with their favorite hydration bottle, belt, vest or pack. A portable restroom will be available along the course near mile 3.5 & 9. The roads are open to traffic. The local Police Department will help monitor traffic. PLEASE stay to the side of the road. There is a short section (@ 1/4 mile) of unpaved road on the course. Bag check is not available. Please plan accordingly. Award medals are given to the top three M/F in each age group. Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your award before you leave (There will not be an awards ceremony). Awards will not be mailed and are not available at any other time. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your purchased merchandise before you leave.
