About This Race
Fairgrounds 5K, Mile & Market is a community event at the historic fairgrounds in Cumberland, Maine, presented by Valor Track Club in partnership with Cumberland Farmer's Club. The day features five races including an elite mile, youth and open miles, a kids run, and a 5K run or walk, alongside a farmer's market, food trucks, and live music. The cross-country 5K course winds through the fairgrounds and finishes on the horse racetrack. All proceeds are donated to MOFGA, the Maine 4H Foundation, and the Valor Youth Program.

Prize money for the elite mile ($400, $250, $100 for top 3 overall and for next 3 women) and the open mile ($100/$75/$50 top 3); USATF Maine Championship age category prizes.
