About This Race

The Dash for Donation is an annual event hosted by Lifeline of Ohio that travels through the streets of downtown Columbus to raise awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation. The 2026 event takes place July 11 at Genoa Park. Funds raised support programs that help save and heal lives through the gift of donation, and teams of families, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate.

The Family Fun Walk is designed for any individual or team that is not able to or does not want to walk the distance of a 5K. The course is an approximate 1-mile loop. Participants will receive a race t-shirt and a medal.

Kids & Mascot Dash
The Kids & Mascot Dash is a kid-friendly event for those 7 and under to “dash” with local mascots. This event takes place prior to the Family Fun Walk and 5K. All kids/participants will be able to participate in either of the other events with family members following this event. Participants will receive a race t-shirt and a medal.
