About This Race

The New Albany Independence Day 5K is a chip-timed Fourth of July run/walk through the community of New Albany, Ohio. Proceeds benefit the New Albany Symphony Orchestra and local nonprofit performing arts groups. The event also features a Toddler Crawl, a Kids Fun Run, and a Pet Parade, with live music, dance performances, and post-race food.

Official Independence Day t-shirts for all 5K participants and finisher medals for all 5k participants.

Awards

Top 3 overall male and female winners in the 5k receive two complimentary symphony tickets, a large apple pie, and cash prizes: $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, $25 for 3rd, plus age group awards.

Packet Pickup

Early packet pickup at Marburn Academy on July 3 from 3:00-5:00pm, 9555 Johnstown Rd, New Albany, OH 43054. Race day pickup opens 7:00am at Market Square.
