About This Race

The Freedom 5K is the 25th annual July 4th run and walk held at Lynch Field in Greensburg, PA, on America's 250th anniversary. The out-and-back course uses wave starts, and timing is provided by Gingerbreadman Running. The event benefits the American Heart Association and includes door prizes, raffle baskets, and a virtual option.

Water station is located before the 1 mile mark going out and after the 2 mile mark on the way back.

Top 3 male & female runners by gun time; top male & female masters runners (age 40+) and top 3 walkers by chip time; age group awards top 3 in numerous categories.
