About This Race

The Schaumburg Turkey Trot is a chip-timed Half Marathon and 5K held at Busse Woods (Ned Brown Meadow) in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Part of the Run Chicagoland Race Series and the nationwide Thankful Turkey Run/Walk, the event includes a Kids Dash, finisher medals, and Spunky Dunkers donuts at the finish line. Courses run entirely on paved path or road and benefit the Fetching Tails Foundation.

All finishers in the Half Marathon, 5K and Kid's Division 5K receive a finisher medal; awards to top 3 male and female in each age group and overall in the Half Marathon and 5K.

Mailed for $17 per participant; or pick up Wed 11/26 11am-6pm or Fri 11/28 11am-4pm at Dick Ponds Athletics, 1772 Algonquin Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192; or at the event site race morning.
