About This Race
The Maine Community Bank Maine Marathon is a Maine Track Club event, with the 2026 edition marking its 35th year and making it one of the longest running marathon events in New England. The race comprises a full marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay, all starting and finishing along Baxter Boulevard in Portland's Back Cove. As a nonprofit race, registration fees support a group of beneficiaries, and since 1997 the event has raised nearly $9 million for charity.
