About This Race
Legends Spooky Trail Race at Rudy Mines - Sunday October 26th 2025 at 3pm
6K run/walk on the Ben Hawes Trail System just outside of Owensboro, KY
This year's Spooky Trail Race is a two-looped course.
You will start to the left of the parking lot at the open field of the red trail-head. Then head into the woods along the Green Trail, looping past rolling hills and switchbacks. After you will head through more double track of Red and Yellow with a nice climb to end your loop!
Expect a mix of gentle climbs, fun downhills, and enough twists and turns to keep you on your toes! We will have staff and markers throughout to help guide you along.
Whether you’re here for speed or just for fun, this course offers the perfect balance of challenge and excitement.
Distance: 3 km per loop
Terrain: Mostly dirt and packed trail, with some rooty and rocky sections – watch your footing!
