About This Race
One Step Closer is a summer fixed-time endurance event created by Orca Running, held at Lincoln Park in Seattle, WA. Runners take on a 2-mile course loop and complete as many loops as they can during their selected time period of 18, 12, 6, or 3 hours, with all runners finishing together at 10:00pm. The looped course combines beachside flat paved and gravel sections with forested single-track trail.

Variety of snacks, water, and tailwind endurance fuel available throughout the entire race; cupless racing.
Awards
Overall awards given to top 3 male, female, and non-binary runners in each time category (18, 12, 6, and 3 hours), based upon total mileage covered.

Packet Pickup
Pre-race packet pickup Thursday August 13th, 4:00pm-6:00pm at West Seattle Runner; race-day pickup opens 3:30am.
