About This Race
The 46th Annual Sickle Cell Road Race is held in East Point, Georgia, and is a Peachtree Road Race qualifying event that is USATF certified. The 5K race/walk starts at 9:00 a.m. in front of East Point City Hall and serves as a fundraiser to support individuals affected by sickle cell disease. Proceeds benefit Camp New Light, a weeklong camp for children and teens living with sickle cell disease.
