About This Race
5th Annual Razom πΊπ¦πΊπΈ Freedom Run 5K
Since 2022, the Razom Freedom Run 5K has united communities across the United States every August to celebrate Ukrainian Independence Day β bringing together runners of all abilities in the spirit of freedom. Founded by Ukrainian Olympian Nelya Neporadna, this year's race marks two extraordinary milestones: the 250th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States (1776β2026) and the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine (1991β2026). Two nations. Two stories of freedom. One finish line.
Join us on Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, Florida β one of South Floridaβs most scenic fitness destinations β for a unique international celebration of freedom, unity, and community. Razom Freedom Run 5K brings together runners, walkers, and families to honor these historic milestones through sport, culture, and connection.
The event features a 5K run/walk, a Kidsβ Fun Run, traditional Ukrainian cuisine, live music performances, folk dance showcases, and an embroidery exhibition β all in a welcoming, festive atmosphere. Participant donations support Ukraine directly.
The 5K is open to everyone β seasoned runners, families with strollers, and first-time participants alike.
