About This Race
The Cow Chip Classic is the 47th Annual 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run held Labor Day weekend in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, part of the Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw & Festival. The 5K and 10K courses start near Marion Park and run a scenic route through the Wisconsin countryside, crossing the Hwy 60 bridge. The 2025 event drew 668 participants.
