About This Race
The Run the Runway 5K is a family-friendly event held on the taxiway and runway at Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport, beginning with a 1K Fun Run for children ages 3-12 followed by a 5K. The professionally chip-timed course is flat, completely paved, and stroller and wheelchair friendly. All proceeds benefit the Explore More Discovery Museum's aviation exhibit.
