Race Overview
The REVEL White Mountains is a special edition Boston Qualifying marathon and half marathon that takes runners down the iconic Kancamagus Highway through New Hampshire's spectacular White Mountains National Forest. This fast, downhill point-to-point course offers breathtaking views of the Swift River and historic landmarks while providing an exceptional opportunity for personal records and Boston Marathon qualification.
Course & Route
The marathon begins at CL Graham Wangan Overlook and descends 2,350 feet over 26.2 miles, while the half marathon starts at Russell Colbath House and drops 795 feet. The course follows the famous Kancamagus Highway, unique for its lack of modern amenities, creating a remarkably captivating wilderness experience. Runners will encounter spectacular mountain vistas, the Swift River alongside the trail, scenic waterfalls, and pristine forest views.
Registration & Pricing
Registration ranges from $109-$159 and includes gender-specific race shirts, large high-quality finisher medals, free professional race photos, and personalized highlight videos. Early registration is recommended as this is a special edition event with limited capacity.
Participant Experience
The race features well-stocked aid stations every two miles, pacers for various Boston qualifying times, and chip timing with live tracking. The finish line celebration at Ham Arena includes comprehensive post-race amenities and a festive atmosphere celebrating participants' achievements.

Logistics & Practical Info

Tips for Participants
While this is a downhill course, don't underestimate the quad impact of sustained descents. Train specifically on downhill terrain and practice negative splits. The course includes one challenging uphill section between miles 10-12 with approximately 300 feet of elevation gain that requires strategic pacing.
