Runner Tips & Advice 10
Helpful advice from runners who've been there
[Category: mindset] This race is all about getting dirty and having fun. Wear clothes you don't mind ruining, bring a change of clothes for after, and consider waterproof phone protection. The mud is part of the experience, not an obstacle to avoid.
[Category: training] Perfect for families with kids 8 and up. The obstacles are designed to be achievable for beginners. Help each other over walls and through mud pits - teamwork is encouraged and celebrated.
[Category: logistics] The post-race festival is a major highlight. Plan to stay for mud volleyball, live music, and food trucks. Bring cash for vendors and consider the beer garden if you're 21+. The photo booths are great for memorable shots.
[Category: course] Take your time at obstacles - there's no rush. Help others and accept help when needed. The cargo net climb is easier on the sides, and the mud pits are shallower than they look. Don't forget to smile for the photographers!
