About This Race
The Flying Pig Marathon Weekend is Cincinnati's largest running celebration, featuring a point-to-point marathon course that begins near the banks of the Ohio River and crosses the river twice before looping through historic neighborhoods. The majority of the course's hills are concentrated in the first nine miles, with approximately 300 feet of climbing between miles six and nine, followed by rolling terrain through mile 19. The weekend attracts runners, walkers, adaptive athletes, and dogs across more than ten event formats, earning its reputation as a premier community race weekend in the Greater Cincinnati area.
