About This Race
The Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two Mile Race is held in downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia, and serves as the RRCA West Virginia State Championship. The rolling half marathon course takes runners out of the city into the scenic West Virginia surroundings before looping back to finish on Market Street before the Homecoming Festival Parade. Half marathon participants receive a tech shirt, pre-race pasta dinner, finishers medal, and post-race pizza luncheon.

Overall Male & Female 1st-3rd, Wheelchair divisions, Masters, Grandmasters, Sr. Grandmasters, and age group awards for both Half Marathon and 2 Mile Run and Walk.
