Indianapolis Monumental Marathon

The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon is one of the 15 largest marathons in the USA, held annually on November 7 in downtown Indianapolis. Known as 'A Beautiful Place to Set Your Pace,' the USATF-certified course is fast and flat, making it ideal for first-time marathoners, elite athletes, and PR seekers. The event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field and serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Celebrating its 19th edition in 2026, the Monumental Marathon draws thousands of participants from across the country. The race features multiple distance options including the full marathon, half marathon, and 5K. Special programming includes INDYTHON training, Elite Athlete divisions, Pace Teams, Run for a Cause charity partnership, and Team Monumental Kids.
