About This Race
The Swift Bear Trail Run offers a unique cultural and athletic experience combining challenging mountain trail running with Native American tradition during the Hays Powwow on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in north-central Montana. Set in the spectacular Mission Canyon within the Little Rocky Mountains, this race features dramatic limestone cliffs, natural bridges, and centuries-old canyon formations carved by Peoples Creek, providing runners with breathtaking scenery through traditional tribal lands.
