About This Race
The Crown City Classic is San Diego's most patriotic race, held July 4, 2026 in Coronado, California. The 53rd annual event offers a 12K (7.4 miles), 5K (3.1 miles), and a Kids Half Mile for racers 12 and under. All courses start and finish in Tidelands Park with views of the Coronado Bridge along Glorietta Boulevard. The flat, fast 12K route runs past the Navy Amphibious Base toward the Silver Strand.
