The City of Independence Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department and official partner Centerpoint Medical Center are excited to present the annual Truman Trot 5K on May 1, 2022.

After canceling the event in 2020 and going virtual in 2021, the Truman Trot (formerly Park Trot) returns to Waterfall Park in person in 2022.

In keeping with past years, the Truman Trot is presented free of cost, courtesy of the City of Independence and our community sponsors, HCA Midwest Health Centerpoint Medical Center, Bass Pro Shops, and Cigna.
