Severance Glow 5K Run or Walk

The Severance Glow 5K Run or Walk is a unique nighttime community event taking place during the annual Severance Days celebration in Colorado. This inaugural glow-themed race starts at 8:15 PM, creating a fun and festive atmosphere as participants light up the evening in glow-in-the-dark attire and accessories. The professionally timed race follows a scenic route from Severance Community Park along the Great Western Trail and Ponderosa to Rangeview Elementary School and back. What makes this event special is its strong community support for local education, with proceeds benefiting Severance Middle School's cross-country team to help purchase equipment. Participants enjoy DJ entertainment at the start/finish line, receive glow sticks, and choose between a commemorative hat or performance t-shirt.
