Race of Hope Southampton

The Southampton Race of Hope is an annual 5K run/walk around the scenic Lake Agawam in Southampton, NY, supporting the Hope for Depression Research Foundation. This USA Track and Field-sanctioned event brings together over 1,000 participants from across the tri-state area and beyond, including professional runners, first-time runners, walkers, corporate teams, families, and children to unite as a community in the fight to defeat depression. The beautiful course features tree-lined streets around Lake Agawam with a flat, fast route starting at 8:30 AM from Agawam Park. 100% of all proceeds go directly to funding groundbreaking depression research that will transform how depression is viewed, diagnosed, treated, and prevented. The 2025 event marks the 10th anniversary of this impactful community gathering that has raised over $500,000 in recent years.
