About This Race
The Parrot Head Run is a Jimmy Buffett-themed race celebrating the music and lifestyle of the legendary singer-songwriter. Starting at Margaritaville Cleveland in the Flats East Bank, the 5K and 1-mile races wind along the scenic Cuyahoga River waterfront with stunning views of downtown Cleveland. The flat, fast course follows paved paths through the entertainment district with minimal elevation changes. Post-race festivities include food and drink specials with $5 margaritas and mimosas, plus live entertainment by the band Cheeseburger in Paradise. All proceeds benefit Fostering Hope, a local childrens charity supporting foster care system awareness and opportunities.
