About This Race

The Trinity Health Seaway Run is a community race held on the last Saturday in June at Heritage Landing in Muskegon, Michigan. The scenic lakeshore event offers a 5k, 10k, half marathon, a community walk, and a kids run. Race proceeds support the local community, with the event supported by Trinity Health and other partners.

5K Run + Training Camp
Prepare for race day with our Seaway 5k Training Camp, hosted by Run Muskegon. Running May 5 through June 25, participants meet Tuesdays at 6PM and Saturdays at 8:30AM at Beachwood Park with guidance from a certified coach and experienced local runners. Choose the Beginner track if you’re new to racing, or Performance to chase a personal record. This registration also includes entry to the Seaway 5k. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to the Muskegon YMCA at [email protected] to explore scholarship opportunities and make joining the camp possible for you.

1.2k Kids Fun Run 1K
Free and open to children 10 and under, this fun 1.2k loop around Heritage Landing takes place on Friday evening right after our Race Expo. Parents are required to be present at the start/finish line. Come cheer on your little movers and get the whole family in on the action!
