Start your Cinco de Mayo celebration with a run through Roseland, CA! Join the Movimiento on a 5k or 10k course that takes you through the neighborhood of Roseland, CA beginning and ending at Bayer Neighborhood Park and Gardens! Students run for only $5! Plus this year we have added a FREE Carrera de Niños (kid's run)! 

El propósito de la Carrera de Cinco de Mayo de Roseland es construir una comunidad saludable y desarrollar estilos de vida saludables en Roseland, CA. The purpose of Roseland’s Cinco de Mayo Run is to build a healthy community and develop healthy lifestyles in Roseland, CA. Families are invited to participate in the run and join the finish line Health & Wellness Festival, featuring age-division awards, food, community organizations, and a celebration of Latino culture.

El curso de 5k y 10k - este curso plano comenzará en Bayer Neighborhood Park and Gardens, y se dirigirá hacia el norte y hacia la histórica Sebastopol Rd. Los corredores se dirigirán hacia la escuela primaria Roseland Creek y a través del sitio de un futuro parque en Santa Rosa. The 5k and 10k Course - This flat course will begin at Bayer Neighborhood Park and Gardens, and head North and onto historic Sebastopol Rd. Runners will head towards Roseland Creek Elementary school and through the site of a future Santa Rosa park. After a long straight section on Burbank Ave, runners will turn East on Hearn Ave and then onto Dutton Ave. This loop turns onto Funston Dr and finishes back to Bayer Neighborhood Park and Gardens. Carrera de Niños - Este año hemos agregado una carrera para niños al evento. Las edades de 10 años y menores están invitadas a registrarse gratis y correr 2 vueltas alrededor de la pista en Bayer. Cintas de cumplimiento para todos. La Carrera de Niños tendrá lugar antes del inicio de 5k / 10k. Los niños que comienzan a correr jóvenes tienen más probabilidades de usar la carrera como una herramienta para la salud física y mental a medida que se desarrollan.

Carrera de Niños - This year we have added a kid's run to the event. Ages 10 and under are invited to sign up for free and run 2 laps around the track at Bayer. Accomplishment ribbons for all. The Carrera de Niños will take place before the 5k/10k start. Kids who start running young are more likely to use running as a tool for physical and mental health as they develop. 

Festival de salud y bienestar posterior a la carrera - todos están invitados a participar en el Festival de salud y bienestar posterior a la carrera que ofrece premios por división de edad, una celebración de la cultura latina y bocadillos saludables. Las cabinas de patrocinadores y las organizaciones comunitarias ofrecerán consejos sobre cómo mantener estilos de vida activos y divertidos, nutrición, estiramiento, recursos comunitarios y más.

Post-Race Health & Wellness Festival - All are invited to join in the post race Health & Wellness Festival featuring age-division awards, a celebration of Latino culture, and healthy snacks. Sponsor booths and community organizations will feature advice on maintaining fun active lifestyles, nutrition, stretching, community resources, and more.

Apreciamos a los voluntarios - ¿No quieres correr, pero quieres ser parte de la diversión? Habrá varias oportunidades de voluntariado antes, durante y después del evento, incluyendo el llenado de bolsas de golosinas, asistencia para recoger el babero, guías de rutas de carreras, distribución de premios y más. Todos los voluntarios reciben una camiseta conmemorativa.

We Appreciate Volunteers - Don’t want to run, but still want to be part of the fun? There will be several volunteer opportunities before, during and after the event including goodie bag stuffing, bib-pickup assistance, race route guides, award distribution and more. All volunteers receive a commemorative shirt.

Movimiento Roseland Runners, Programa de Carrera K-12 - Las ganancias del 5K / 10k benefician a los Movimiento Roseland Runners. Misión del Movimiento: Promover la equidad, estilos de vida saludables y comunidades más fuertes a través de un programa estructurado de K-12. Los estudiantes trabajarán con entrenadores y mentores para establecer metas, desarrollar la autoestima y entrenarse para una carrera de 10 km o 5 km en la primavera. Los estudiantes podrán aprovechar este sentido de trabajo duro y logros para actualizar sus sueños en todos los aspectos de sus vidas.

Movimiento Roseland Runners, K-12 Running Program - Proceeds from the 5K/10k benefit the Movimiento Roseland Runners. Movimiento's Mission: To promote equity, healthy lifestyles, and stronger communities through a structured K-12 running program. Students will work with coaches and mentors to set goals, build self-esteem, and train for a 10K or 5k race in the spring. Students will be able to draw on this sense of hard work and achievement to actualize their dreams in all aspects of their lives.
