The 23rd Annual Sully Freedom Fun Run/Walk will once again be held in conjunction with Sully's 4th of July celebration Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Our event offers a one mile run/walk or a 5k run/walk through the tree lined streets of Sully. We also have a free kids run following the 5k. We give plaques to overall male/female winners in the one mile, plaques to top 3 males/females in 5k, and medals in the 5k for 1st-3rd males/females in 13 age divisions. Each year we also have lots of door prizes that every participant is eligible to win. 

Event details and schedule

T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who have registered by June 20. The registration table and packet pick-up open up at 6:45 on race morning. Race day walk up registrations will close at 7:45. One mile at 8:00 AM. 5k race at 8:20 AM. Kids run at 9:10 AM. Results and awards to follow the kids run.

All races begin and end on the West side of the town square in Sully. NO PARKING is allowed around the square on July 4. Races will be chip timed by True Timing Services. Refreshments will be available afer the race. There is also an opportunity for a freewill donation pancake breakfast. The city of Sully will have it's 4th of July parade along with kids carnival games, tractor pulls, slow pitch softball tournament, and many more activities throughout the day concluding with fireworks show at night.
