Description

Our FGCU men's and women's cross country program is scheduled to host the seventh-annual Gobbler 5k on Thanksgiving Day outside of Alico Arena. The 5k race begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. and the Tot Trot at 9 a.m. A pre-registration fee of $20 will be required for those participating running the 5k race who registers before Monday, November 20th, 2016. The 5k entry feel will increase to $25 on Monday, November 20th to Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017. On race day, a registration fee of $35 will be charged for the 5k and $10 for the 1 Mile Run. Tot Trot is free of charge!

Awards will be given to the top-10 male and top-10 female 5k finishers, and Gobbler shirts to those who register till November 9th, 2017. 
Packet Pickup will be on Wednesday, November 22th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at the Fit2Run Store in Coconut Point Mall, and on race morning starting at 6:00am in front of Alico Arena. 

Proceeds from the event will go toward the FGCU cross country program. Please make checks payable to FGCU Athletics/Cross Country.
