Description
2 Distance Options : 2 miles and 5k (3.2miles) Both courses are an out & back format , meaning you will follow the same path in both directions - turning around at the clear & designated turn around point!
2 mile course: Begin at Long Dock Park on Klara Sauer Trail. Follow trail flags and gravel path. At the end of main trail, TURN LEFT to cross the bridge. Immediately after crossing bridge, complete "U-Turn" roundabout. Cross back over the bridge, and TURN RIGHT back onto the Klara Sauer trail. Retrace your steps back to the starting line & you will complete your 2 mile course.
4 mile course: Begin at Long Dock Park on Klara Sauer Trail. Follow trail flags and gravel path. At the end of main trail, TURN LEFT to cross the bridge. Immediately after crossing bridge, TURN RIGHT on the Dave Miller Connector Trail (begins as small paved downhill). You will follow these winding rolling flats of pavement and packed gravel for about 1/2 mile. Then, you will reach your turnaround point just before the fishing dock at Madam Brett Park - which will b signified by cones &/or flags. Make a "U-Turn" roundabout here, and r-trace your steps back to the start line. Follow the packed gravel and pavement back where you came. This means as you complete the small pavement hill of the Dave Miller Connector Trail, TURN LEFT over the bridge, and then TURN RIGHT back onto the Klara Sauer trail. Retrace your steps back to the starting line & you will complete your 5k mile course.
All participants will receive finisher awards & be entered into a raffle!
