Join us at the 3rd Annual Masquerade 5k Run/Walk!

This professionally timed event by TriOYL will take place on Sunday evening, October 30, 2022, at 5 pm starting at Vail Christian Church [9455 E Valencia Rd]. This out-and-back race will move along the bike path on the loop with a water stop for race participants.

All proceeds will benefit Hands of Hope, a 501c3 nonprofit pregnancy care ministry that has served women and men facing unexpected pregnancies in Tucson for over 40 years. See their website for more details: https://handsofhopetucson.com/

All participants will receive a masquerade accessory and race t-shirt. Unique awards will be presented to the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd finishers for both males and females, in age categories as follows:

• 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+, Overall Male and Overall Female

Complimentary Chick-fil-A gift cards and bottles of water will be provided to participants at the conclusion of the event. Hot dogs will also be available for purchase to profit the Hands of Hope ministry.

Event details and schedule

Below is race-day information:

• Packet pick-up starts at 3:30p
• Gates will close at 4:30p
• Race begins promptly at 5p
• Awards presentation at 6p 
  • 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd for both male and female, in age categories as follows:
• 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+, overall male and overall female

Plenty of parking will be available in the church parking lot. You will be guided to your space by our security staff. Feel free to also park in the dirt lots outside of the front gate on either side of the bike path.

What to expect:

• Three stations will be set up for race registration-bibs, shirts, and masquerade masks.
• Porta potties will be available near the registration stations
• Late registrations will be available on race day, but we cannot guarantee a race shirt
• Water stations will be positioned on the path
• Bottled water and fruit will be provided at the conclusion of the race

• Chick-fil-A gift cards to first 200 participants
