Please join Pfieffer for their first annual 5k Charity Race for Smart Start (Stanly County Partnership for Children)

Whether you are a competitive runner or wish to walk to support a great cause, you will enjoy our route through the neighborhoods of Albemarle. This route is filled with tree-lined streets and enough hills to get your heart racing!

Stanly County Partnership for Children (SmartStart) is a non-profit organization which works to increase access to high-quality childcare, to improve early literacy, and to prevent childhood obesity. They also provide the local community with a place to come together and address the most pressing issues facing child care and education. This organization works to give parents the tools they need to raise healthy, successful children. 

Awards Top 10 Female and Top 10 Male

Parking is available all along the streets (except 4tth and Main)

Packet/Bib pick up at Uwharrie Dash Friday 10-5pm

Raceday packet pickup begins 7am.  Same day registration starts 7am.
