Description

Kick start your Halloween weekend and get into the spirit of the event by running in a wacky costume! All participants can walk, run, creep or crawl in their favorite Halloween costume for the 5K or Kids Spooky Sprint culminating with a costume contest as well as a trunk or treat event after the race. The contest will have multiple categories and winners in each division: adults, children, and groups!!  This is a fun family-themed event that appeals to everyone…..not just the avid runner. 

This will be the first annual fundraising run put on by the Hanover High School Choral Boosters! 100% of the proceeds will go to the Hanover Choral Boosters who in turn support the students by doing such things as helping lower the costs for the students’ trips, competitions, etc…

The race will start and end at Hanover High School and be run in the neighborhoods surrounding the school. Runners and walkers alike are welcome at this race. 

The 5K race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for participants ages 10 and older.  The  Spooky Sprint is open to kids 9 & under.  The Spooky Sprint will be an untimed kids run. All kids registered for the Spooky Sprint will receive a trick or treat bag at check in to use for the trunk-or-treat event being held after the race!  

 
The Race will be timed by Commonwealth Timing and results will be available online following the event. 

All participants registered prior to October 1st are guaranteed a T-shirt. Registration is open on race day, but availability for shirts/bags/medals will be limited to stock on hand.

Event will happen – Rain OR Shine! Big Mikes Food Truck will be onsite serving coffee, breakfast and lunch for the entire event!
