Description

Come be a part of the second annual Onesie Funsie Rhino Run to celebrate Camille’s life and raise funds to support young women in their educational endeavors in the fields of wildlife and environmental conservation.  Wear your favorite onesies (this rhino one is pretty awesome - https://a.co/d/05aTeYA , we're just saying) and join us for a fun timed 5K run/walk and kids dash.  All events will take place on September 9th, at Line Creek Creek trail - the start is right by the Line Creek Skating Rink.  We'll start with the kids dash at 8:45, followed by the 5k at 9:00.

Register now as the registration price will increase on July 9, 2023. 

Awards will be presented to top three women and top three men.

First 100 kids (8 & under) to show up on Saturday will get a ticket to ride the miniature train, which is located right by the race start and runs from 10-2.  All racers will receive a race t-shirt and medal!

You must register by Thursday, August 24th to guarantee a shirt in your preferred shirt size.  We will have shirts available for those that register after the 24th but cannot guarantee availability or size.  All registered 5K participants will receive their race medal at the race finish.  Kids Dash participants will receive their kids medal at the end of the Kids Dash.   

We will end the day with the Be Like Cam Party & Auction, taking place at St. Pius X from 6-10 pm on September 9, 2023.  The event is 21 and over.  We'll have music, games, raffles, silent auction items, live auction items, food and open bar. So keep an eye out! Tickets will be sold separately.

Packet Pick Up

This year's packet pickup will be on September 8th from 4:30 - 7:00 at Chicken N Pickle (1761 Burlington, North Kansas City, MO 64116).  Join us to get your race bib and official 2023 Onesie Funsie Rhino Run race t-shirt. We can't wait to see you there!

We will have packet pickup available on race day, September 9th from 7:30 - 8:00, near the starting line. However, if you are able, we STRONGLY encourage you to come to the Friday pickup to ensure you do not miss the start of your event!

Peer to Peer Fundraising

If you'd like to create your own personal fundraising page to raise more money please click "Become a Fundraiser" during the registration process. 
Then:
1. Customize your page and create a fundraising goal
2. Share your page with friends, family, and on social media asking your network for their support
3. Hit your fundraising goal and raise money for young women's education funds.
