Why register for the WIN Glow Run? Because 10 million is too large a number for our organization to WIN the race to end domestic violence, alone. In the United States, nearly 20 people per minute are experiencing domestic or intimate partner violence. That comes to over 10,000,000 women and men suffer abusive behavior such as physical, sexual, economic, or emotional abuse as well as coercive abuse. 

When you register for the WIN Glow Run 5K, you are helping us bring awareness to the hidden secret of domestic violence. Domestic Violence bulldozes through every barrier, it does not discriminate against age, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliations, ethnicity, race, religion, or social class. It invades and destroys families in every neighborhood.  

However, when we bring awareness to the plight of families in Hunt, Rockwall, and Rains Counties affected by intimate partner and domestic abuse, the glow of hope will emerge. And it is on the Wings of Hope that we can run toward a safer tomorrow.
