Please join us for the 2022 Walk by Faith Breast Cancer Walk for Life. This year's theme is Survivors Family and Friends, Walking to LYFT You. This year's in-person walk will be an invitation only and requires a special code. We will honor six survivors and their support circle. The walk will take place Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Laurel Lakes, Pavilion A. Street parking is available. Carpooling is encouraged.  We will provide water and snacks on the day of the walk,. You will also receive an event bag and t-shirt. No course markings will be provided. We will have designated walk guides to assist in navigating the walk. Virtual Walk 

Our primary walk this year will be our  Walk by Faith Virtual Walk which takes place October 10-31, 2022.  You can walk any distance you want - anywhere you want - even if you're in another state. You may complete your distance any time and across as many days as you want. We encourage you to grab your family and friends and walk in support of someone you know who may be living with the disease. We also encourage you to post pictures on our Walk by Faith and Wholeness Inc Facebook page using #walkbyfaith22. Shirts are included in your registration and will be mailed within 5 business days. 

Why We Walk

We walk to educate, inform and empower women to take control of their breast health through regular self and clinical breast exams and mammogram screenings. We know that "Early Detection is the KEY". Become an ambassador for  breast health awareness and join us as we walk to provide empathy and equity to women and families in need. 

Funds raised this year will go directly to support the launch of Marian's MammoRide. Marian's MammoRide offers free transportation to and from mammogram and essential breast health appointments. Our mission is to eliminate the transportation barrier to breast care by providing  safe and reliable transportation through our partnership with Lyft .This critical service provides women  access to breast care screenings and follow-up appointments. 

Help eliminate the inequities in our health care system by donating to Marian's Mammoride. A donation of any size gives women  free rides to and from appointments providing  the support they need to get the help they deserve. This access will give women a change of early detection, and  medical care that may help save and sustain life.
