October 1st is TC's 13th anniversary! Throughout TC's history, we have helped hundreds of children and families through donations and providing therapeutic services focused on the mental and emotional well-being of youth.

As we all know, our youth’s mental and emotional health is being challenged, daily. As we also know, there are many youths who are uninsured or underinsured making it difficult for them to get the care that they need. TC has spent years breaking down the barriers that make it hard for youth and families to receive the help they need to reach their behavioral and mental health goals. A great example of how we do this is through our YES Program. The YES Program makes it possible for TC to provide free and low-cost services to youth and their families who otherwise would not receive assistance due to their inability to pay. The overhead costs associated with supporting our communities with programs like the YES Program play a role in the struggle organizations such as ours may face. To successfully continue our mission, we need help from the community.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, many of our young people were experiencing difficulties with managing behavior, anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health issues. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of youths experiencing these difficulties has increased dramatically.

With the world opening up after the pandemic, what better time to have a fun fundraising event that involves the community while addressing the needs of our young people! This fun-filled evening will allow you to have a great time while making a difference. With your participation in our Living Dead 5K Run/1K Walk, we can raise funds that will help ensure that TC continues to provide much needed services to those anyone seeking quality, family-centered therapy regardless of their finances.

At this amazing event, you can expect to run/walk through semi-terrain, win prizes (best-dressed zombie, top runner in categories based on age and gender, and overall top runner), enjoy dancing, and lite eating…all while running from zombies and evading color bombs! Come out and experience the fun!

100% of the proceeds from the Living Dead Color Run will be used to assist our team in the areas needed as we work diligently to make a difference in the lives of youth and families who are uninsured or underinsured. Our goal for this run is to ensure that we are always able to help individuals, families, and our community where it counts...mental health is just as important as physical health.
