Description

After a lengthy hiatus, open water swimming in Long Island Sound, returns to the shores of Milford, CT. The Swim will start on the beach in front of the Walnut Beach Pavillion in Milford, CT around the Albert Monroe Pier and swim parallel to the beach towards Silver Sands State Park and make a "U" turn to go back around the pier to finish back in front of the Walnut Beach Pavillion. The swim will be limited to 400 swimmers.PLEASE NOTE: This swim is not for novices. This event is for experienced open-water swimmers only. You should be able to swim one mile comfortably in a pool in under 40 minutes.
