How Fast Can You Run a 1- Mile Sprint? Here is your chance to prove it. Join us for the inaugural timed, Fort Worth Classic 1 Mile Sprint + 5K.The 1-mile course is flat, fast, and on a closed road. If you want to have some good ol' fashioned fun and race your fellow competitors in an old-school foot race, then this is the race for you. This 1 Mile Sprint will start and finish on Forest Park Blvd.These are Timed RacesThe 1 Mile Sprint will have multiple categories, based on the number of registrants.Males 13+Females 13+ Youth Under 13 Awards will be given to the overall Male and Female in each 1 Mile Sprint category. This is all about bragging rights! Once the 1 Mile Sprint has concluded, the 5K will begin. The 5K course will run along the beautiful Trinity River. This race will start and finish near "The Shack" on Panther Island.The After Party Near "The Shack"Enjoy great music, free Yuengling Flight beer (for participants over 21, of course), local food trucks, vendors + friends.
