We Care May the Fourth Be With You - 5K Community Fun Run/Walk

Join us for our Second Annual We Care "MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU" Fun Run. This is an untimed 5K Star Wars-themed run/walk! The event will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 9:00 a.m. and the course will begin and end at Weld Central High School. There will be small prizes for best adult and best child costumes. Registration for the run/walk includes a T-shirt for those who register by April 21st and a post-race pancake breakfast for all registered participants! Children 5 and under can participate for free but will not receive a t-shirt.  We also have a Family 4-Pack Discount! 

In addition, we will have a silent auction and an opportunity drawing. For every $5 cash donation, you will receive one ticket for the opportunity drawing of a smoker.

Timeline:

• Registration and sign-in will begin at 8:00 a.m.
• Race begins at 9:00
• Breakfast will be served between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
• Silent Auction ends at 11:30
• Opportunity Drawing will be held between 11:30 and 12:00

We love pets, but please leave your 4-legged family members home for this event! We are not currently set up to provide a safe atmosphere for our furry friends. 

 *The We Care committee was formed in the Spring of 2006 when two high school students on their way to school were involved in a terrible car accident. Funds were raised to help with the medical costs. Because this proved to be such a worthy cause for our community, we have continued to help other families in our district. Since its inception, We Care, through the donations of each school’s bake sales, silent auction, jeans days, dinner, and Faculty Follies, has helped 135 families and counting with expenses and bills due to hardship. For this worthy cause to continue, We Care relies solely on the support of our community, students, and staff. We thank you for your support!
